Necessity of Understanding the Quran Part-4

Quran is a Guidance to Mankind. So, is it Possible for Everyone to Understand the Quran?

Allah has clearly mention about Quran as a guidance to mankind. To know the guidance, we have to understand the Quran and it must be read and studied with the intention of educating ourselves. If we do not understand Quran, we will not know anything about Allah’s guidance and what are we going to follow? We can only guess, and Islam cannot be understood on wild guess and assumptions. After going through the Ayats mentioned above the very first question that hits our head is “Is it possible for everyone to understand Quran?”The Answer is mentioned in Quran itself. Please ponder over few Ayats of the Quran in this context.

Allah says in Surah Al-Ankabut 29: Ayat 69

“And those who strive in Our (cause),- We will certainly guide them to our Paths: For verily Allah is with those who do right.”

Allah says in Surah Al Qamar 54: Ayats 17,22,32 and 40

“And We have indeed made the Qur´an easy to understand and remember: then is there any that will receive admonition?”

Allah says in Surah Al Qiyamah 75: Ayat 19

“Nay more, it is for Us to explain it (and make it clear):”

Allah says in Surah Al Hijr 15: Ayat 1

“A. L. R. These are the Ayats of Revelation, – of a Quran that makes things clear.”

Allah says in Surah Hijr 15: Ayat 9

“We have, without doubt, sent down the Message; and We will assuredly guard it (from corruption).”

Allah says in Surah Nur 24: Ayat 46

“We have indeed sent down signs that make things manifest: and Allah guides whom He wills to a way that is straight.”
