Our Fate According to the Quran

About our fate, Allah had made it very much clear in the Quran that death is inevitable andall of us will be asked about our conduct in this life.Quran says that this world is a place to test us and most of us are in loss. Allah warns us that only lip service is not enough.letus ponder over the following Ayats of the Quran.

Allah says in Surah Al-Imran (3) Ayat 185

“Every soul shall have a taste of death: And only on the Day of Judgment shall you be paid your full recompense. Only he who is saved far from the Fire and admitted to the Garden will have attained the object (of Life): For the life of this world is but goods and chattels of deception.”

Allah says in Surah Al-Anbiya (21) Ayat 35

“Every soul shall have a taste of death: and We test you by evil and by good by way of trial. to Us must ye return.”

Allah says in Surah Al-Qasas 28: Ayat 85

“Verily He Who ordained the Qur’an for thee will bring thee back to the Place of Return. Say:My Lord knows best who it is that brings true guidance, and who is in manifest error.”

Allah says in Surah Al-Ankabut (29) Ayat 2

“Do men think that they will be left alone on saying, “We believe”, and that they will not be tested?”

Allah says in Surah Ankabut (29) Ayat 57

“Every soul shall have a taste of death in the end to Us shall ye be brought back.”

Allah says in Surah Al-Mulk 67: Ayat 2

“He Who created death and life, that He may try which of you is best indeed: and He is the Exalted in Might, Oft-Forgiving”

Allah says in Surah Al-Asr (103) Ayat 1 to 3

1.  By (the Token of) Time (through the ages),

2.  Verily Man is in loss,

3.  Except such as have Faith, and do righteous deeds, and (join together) in the mutual teaching of Truth, and of Patience and Constancy.

Allah says in Surah Al Imran 3: Ayat 137

Many were the Ways of Life that have passed away before you: travel through the earth, and see what was the end of those who rejected Truth.

Allah says in Surah Taha 20: Ayat 124

“But whosoever turns away from My Message, verily for him is

a life narrowed down, and We shall raise him up blind on the Day of Judgment.”

Allah says in Surah Muhammed 47: Ayat 38 (Part) optional

“If ye turn back (from the Path), He will substitute in your stead another people; then they would not be like you !”

Allah says in Surah Hashr 59: Ayat 19

“And be ye not like those who forgot Allah, and He made them forget their own souls! Such are the rebellious transgressors !”
